Is PokerPals real-money gambling?
No. PokerPals operates social poker leagues hosted by licensed venues. League fees cover participation and prizes where applicable. PokerPals is a community platform, not a gambling operator.
How do I join a league?
Create your free PokerPals account, search for a local venue using Find a League, then register for the league you want to play in. You can join multiple venues if you like.
How are league points calculated?
Players earn points based on their finishing position each week. Higher finishes earn more points. Standings update automatically after results are entered by the venue organiser.
How does the scoring tiebreaker work?
If two players have the same total points, the tiebreaker is decided by: (1) number of wins, (2) number of top-three finishes, (3) best single finishing position.
How long is a season?
Each PokerPals season runs for 13 weeks. At the end of the season, the top three players from each participating venue qualify for the PokerPals championship final.
What if I miss a week?
No problem. You simply don't earn points for weeks you don't attend. Your existing points stay in the standings. There's no penalty for missing a week.
Can I play at multiple venues?
Yes. You can join more than one PokerPals league and your results will be tracked separately for each venue.
Can I transfer between venues?
Yes. Contact support@joinpokerpals.co.uk and we'll help you transfer. Your points and stats from the previous venue will remain on your profile.
What is the minimum age to play?
Players must be aged 18 or over. This is a strict requirement and venues are responsible for verifying age at their events.
How do results get entered?
The venue organiser enters results after each game night. Results are entered through the PokerPals platform and standings update automatically.
I'm a venue owner. How do I join?
Visit our For Venues page and register your interest. We'll contact you to discuss league setup, pricing and getting your venue live on PokerPals.
What do venues pay?
Venues pay a monthly subscription to access the PokerPals platform. There are no upfront fees and you can cancel at any time. Player participation fees (if any) are set by the venue.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page and click 'Forgot password'. You'll receive a reset link by email. If you're still having trouble, contact support@joinpokerpals.co.uk.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Email support@joinpokerpals.co.uk with your account email and we'll process your deletion request. Note that league results already entered will remain in the standings.
