2. Description of Service

PokerPals is a platform that organises and manages community pub poker leagues across the United Kingdom. We provide tools for venue owners to manage leagues, track results, and maintain leaderboards, and for players to find leagues, track their performance, and compete in a friendly environment.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use PokerPals
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You may only maintain one account
• You must not be prohibited from participating in poker activities

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Manipulate league results or cheat
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use automated tools to interact with the platform

6. League Rules

Each PokerPals league is operated by a venue owner who sets local rules for their league night. PokerPals provides the scoring and results platform but is not responsible for the conduct of individual league sessions. Venue owners are responsible for ensuring their leagues comply with local licensing laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software associated with PokerPals are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

PokerPals is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free accounts, is zero).

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for breach of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
