PokerPals Rules

Welcome to PokerPals. We provide a social poker league platform for venues and players across the UK. By using PokerPals you agree to these rules and terms.

• Players must be aged 18 or over.
• Players must register a free PokerPals account before joining a league.
• Each player may only hold one PokerPals account.
• Players must provide accurate registration information.

• Treat all players, organisers and venue staff with respect.
• No cheating, collusion or sharing cards with other players.
• No use of electronic devices during hands.
• Follow the organiser's instructions on seating, betting limits and game format.
• Play at your own seat — no swapping during a game without permission.
• Respect PokerPals scoring — results entered by the organiser are final unless successfully disputed.

• Each PokerPals season runs for 13 weeks.
• Players earn points based on their finishing position each week.
• Standings are calculated from total points accumulated across the season.
• Tiebreakers are decided by: (1) number of wins, (2) number of top-three finishes, (3) best single finishing position.
• The top three players from each participating venue qualify for the PokerPals championship final.

Points are awarded based on finishing position each week. The exact points breakdown is published on each venue's league page. Points are累计ed across the full 13-week season to determine final standings.

• Points are awarded to all finishing players.
• Higher finishing positions receive more points.
• Points update automatically once results are entered.
• No points are awarded for games a player does not attend.

• Operate poker events legally, fairly and safely.
• Comply with all applicable licensing and gambling regulations.
• Enter results accurately and promptly after each game.
• Nominate a responsible person to supervise each poker night.
• Explain costs, prizes and rules clearly to all participants.
• Prevent anyone under 18 from participating.

• Any dispute about a result must be raised with the venue organiser within 48 hours of the game.
• The organiser's decision is final unless PokerPals determines it was made in error.
• PokerPals reserves the right to amend results where clear evidence of error exists.

A player may be disqualified from a game or season for:

• Cheating, collusion or dishonesty.
• Abusive or threatening behaviour towards players, organisers or venue staff.
• Repeated violation of these rules after warning.
• Providing false registration information.

Disqualified players forfeit any points or prizes earned in the affected games. Venue organisers may also refuse participation for safety or legal compliance reasons.

• Venue subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscription charges renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period.
• Player participation fees (if applicable) are set by the venue, not PokerPals.
• PokerPals is not responsible for disputes between players and venues about fees or prizes.

PokerPals respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

PokerPals may update these rules from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
